Paylogix Reports Data Breach Involving Sensitive Employee Information

Paylogix, LLC, a third-party administrator for employee benefits and payroll deductions, filed a data breach notification with the Oregon Attorney General on August 14, 2026. The company reported that a data security incident occurred on November 13, 2025, which impacted information it manages for various clients.

The breach involved a range of highly sensitive data categories. The exposed information includes Full Name, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Wage and Compensation Information, Tax Return Information, Direct Deposit Account Details, Home Address, and Email Address.

Such a combination of personal and financial data carries significant risks for those affected. Individuals whose Social Security numbers and direct deposit details are compromised may face an elevated risk of identity theft, unauthorized financial transactions, or targeted phishing attempts.

To protect themselves, individuals are advised to closely monitor their credit reports and financial account statements for any suspicious activity. Placing a fraud alert or a security freeze on their credit files with the major credit bureaus can also help prevent new accounts from being opened fraudulently in their name.
